The APPG that is working for Fair Growth for your 
Thames Estuary

The APPG met on 10th December 2025 for key topics including an update on the work of the APPG's HS1 Sub Committee, presentations from The Port of London Authority and the Thames FreePort, and to discuss future agenda items for the APPG in 2026. The meeting was preceded by an Extraordinary General Meeting which saw the election of Baroness Teresa O'Neill of Bexley as Vice-Chair of the APPG. A summary note of the meeting can be found here.

The APPG met on 17th March 2026 for its AGM, which took place before meeting proceedings. The meeting included an open discussion on the future growth of the Thames Estuary, featuring guest speakers Lord Hestletine and Tom Walker of the Greater Essex Combined Authority. A range of strategic themes were covered such as governance, investment and delivery. The summary note of the meeting is available here.
